Hi i am needing some help and advice regarding a DUI arrest i had on 6/2/2023 in Jacksonville, Al. It is my first offense and i was the only one in the vehicle. The officers did have me take the field sobriety test as well as the breathalyzer test and blew a .10% the arresting officer as well did not read me my Miranda rights. They did take my license in booking and told me in booking that my court date is August 1st. I was told in booking also when i asked what i do now is that i would just have to go to my court date and pay the fine. And that i would get my license back then. I as well was told when i was released that i would get my license back then. I’m a single mom with 2 children and i run a business. Naturally I’m really scared and worried about what to expect when i go to court and i just really need some help and some one who is experienced to help me with this and tell me what to do. Thank you
